Some Paint.NET photomanips today.

I did these as part of a final project last semester, for my Composition and Color class. With the exception of the backgrounds in Queen of the Nile & Cannonball Gobot Run, all photos were taken by me.

QUEEN: The Queen is a snapshot of myself treated in The Ten Commandments fashion; with jewelry, cap, and pyramid made with sandpaper and Prismacolor markers.

CANNONBALL: Hans-Cuff and Turbo were my "models"; or rather, their toys. I transformed them and had them pose. Paint.NET helped me do the rest.

HORROR: I took a candid photo of my prof chatting with another student, made it B&W in Paint.NET, and tweaked it a bit.

The theme of my final project was Movies, so I thought up different types of movies. In today are the Historical Epic(QUEEN), the Action Flick's final chase scene(CANNONBALL), and the Slasher Film(w/a nod to 1930s old-school).

  • MP3 player of choice: Musicmatch Jukebox. Slow, but faithful to play my MP3s. Makes the best playlists.
  • Wallpaper of choice: Pic of original character on an Outlaw Star background.
  • Favourite game: toss-up btwn Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island & Mario Party(first one)
  • Favourite gaming platform: Nintendo. Gotta stick with Nintendo. Glad Sonic decided to join the console.
  • Favourite cartoon character: Classic: Goofy. Overall: Launchpad McQuack or Soundwave. At the moment: Dash Baxter.
  • Personal Quote: "Try EVERYTHING. Make the EXTRA EFFORT." - Yoshi's Island, words to live by.
  • Tools of the Trade: Graphite pencils, Non-photo blue pencil, lightbox, HP scanner, Paint.NET. My faithful allies.
